Subconjuctival hematoma
Also Known As: Subconjuctival hematoma, Broken blood vessel in eye, Conjunctival hemmorrage
This is a broken blood vessel behind the eye. It is commonly caused from a temporary increase in eye pressure during vomiting, coughing, sneezing or physical exertion. They usually turn yellow then absorb completely in 5-10 days depending on their severity.
